Cars & Dough

After the last post, which was very text heavy, here's a more visually pleasing entry:

All of the following cars have made the "World's Most Expensive Cars of 2006" list put together by Forbes Magazine. I thought they were pretty cool looking. And ridiculously overpriced.

Bugatti Veyron

$1,192,000 (1,001 hp)

Pagani Zonda Roadster

$667,321 (650 hp)

SSC Ultimate Aero

$654,500 (1,046 hp)

Leblanc Mirabeau

$645,084 (700 hp)

Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

$637,723 (750 hp)

Koenigsegg CCR

$545,568 (806 hp)

Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren

$452,750 (617 hp)

Maybach 62

$385,250 (543 hp)

Porsche Carrera GT

$440,000 (604 hp)

Maybach 57 S

$367,000 (604 hp)

So, which one would you buy?
If it were me, and I had millions of dollars to throw around, I'd probably go for the Saleen S7. I'm sure it'd help me score with the ladies. Woo hoo!

I think the Bugatti Veyron is the coolest looking, and thus, worth every penny.

The Maybachs and the Benz seem to be the most "driveable/liveable." The others just look like Hot Wheels cars.

Personally I would NEVER drive a car names after "Joey."

I Bugatti has a nice two-toned color job that is the most pleasing to the eye, plus you can put a suitcase it it, so I'll go with that one.

I'm leaning toward the Koenigsegg Creedence Clearwater Revival as a graduation present for Helga. Can you keep a secret? Let's see, when merit increases take effect next after my paycheck, it will only take me 500 years to save up for it. Maybe she'll stay in school a while longer.
