That Oscar buzz is not coming from me...I swear

For the first time that I can remember (which means since I was about 10 or 11 and started paying attention to celebrities and such) I have not seen a single movie that has been nominated for an Oscar. I’ve only seen the list of “big” awards (best film, actor/actress, director, etc.) but there is not a single nominated film that I have seen. As some of you know, I have held Oscar parties before—that’s how excited I usually am by the whole shebang. But this year I am completely uninterested, and will continue to be until I actually go out and see some of these movies. If I get to it before the awards are announced, that is.
