Mark Danielewski has finally written another book. I am thrilled. The experimental, monumental, just plain mental House of Leaves is the best book I have ever read and I cannot wait to see what else Danielewski has to offer. Here is a little teaser from Amazon.com:

As a devoted HoL fan, I know what I'll ask for on my birthday.
As Laura will tell you, I have no love for 'House of Leaves,' and that's a pretty serve understatement (but I think we can be friends anyway:)).
I am quite a fan of his sister's work though.
It's definitely exciting when one's favorite authors put out new books. I have a special dance for Lois McMaster Bujold (scifi writer). I used to have one for Tom Robbins, but then I was betrayed and I would write to him and ask him to stop writing books if I didn't have so much affection for that dirty old man.
